While no stud sensor I have ever used has been 100% accurate, this one does as good of a job as any. No significant complaints.
This is a great scanner. Works well on both interior and exterior walls unlike cheaper models and finds the center of the stud not just the edge. Too bad the price has jumped up so high. I paid less than $40 with shipping.
Complicated method for locating metal, but again better than nothing. Good product for locating wall studs. 90%+ accurate, every now & then product points to a stud that's not there, but it's better than nothing. Instructional DVD was not very good. Have to take a little time to learn how to use the product, but it's better than nothing.
It would have received 5 stars but along with the cost, it didn't come with any type of case to keep it safe. Works so easily and quickly. This thing is awesome. I purchased a Dewalt angle driver at the same time so I added some Velcro in the top part of that case to hold my multiscanner along with a level and tape measure and wa-la. It's a bit pricey so I hesitated but I'm sure glad I bought it. Just using it for my home and already being borrowed by envious friends. I now have one case that holds everything you need to do some hangin'. I should have purchased this years ago.
